Description
Welding Table PRO 1500x1480mm – wide worktop for complex structures
The Welding Table PRO 1500x1480mm by GPPH offers 2.22m² of working surface on a 15mm thick S355J2+N steel worktop with a flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm. It is well suited when a wide frame or complex assembly occupies a significant part of the workstation and requires additional space for clamping points positioned around the structure.
1500x1480mm work surface for wide frames and structures
The 1500x1480mm format has nearly square proportions, allowing the work surface to be used freely in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. It is well suited to wide frames, bases, frameworks, spatial structures and assemblies that require multiple reference points to be positioned around the workpiece.
Compared with the 1500x1000mm format, the worktop is 480mm wider. The additional space is particularly useful for components that occupy a large part of the workstation, as it leaves more room for squares, stops, clamps and other clamping tools on both sides of the structure.
The 2.22m² surface also allows the worktop to be divided into several working zones. Depending on the dimensions of the workpieces, one section can be used for positioning the structure, while the remaining area can be used to prepare subassemblies or arrange the required tooling.
15mm worktop for working with clamping points positioned around the workpiece
The work surface is made of 15mm S355J2+N steel, while the rib system underneath provides additional structural reinforcement. With a wide worktop, this is particularly important when the clamping points are positioned a considerable distance apart.
The flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm provides a precise reference surface across the entire 1500x1480mm area. This allows wide frames and bases to be supported at several points without limiting positioning to the central part of the workstation.
- the edges of the holes are milled and chamfered, making it easier to use compatible tooling,
- holes manufactured to a tolerance of ±0.05mm support accurate reproduction of prepared configurations,
- the engraved 100x100mm scale helps control the position of reference points across a large surface,
- beneath the worktop is a rib system that increases its rigidity,
- the workstation is supported by legs made of 100x100x4mm profiles,
- each leg has a load capacity of 1000kg, provided the load is properly distributed.
GPPH recommends: When working with a wide frame, do not check the geometry along only one edge. After setting the reference points, check the dimensions on both sides and the diagonals of the structure. The large worktop surface allows this inspection to be carried out without removing the workpiece from the workstation.
Maximum table load capacity up to 4000kg
The compact dimensions of the PRO 1000x600mm do not mean limited load capacity. The table is supported by 4 legs made of 100x100x4mm profiles, each providing a load capacity of up to 1000kg. With the load properly and evenly distributed, this gives the table a maximum load capacity of up to 4000kg.
This allows the compact work surface to also be used with heavy components and structures, provided their weight is properly distributed across the worktop and support points.
Welding Table PRO 1500x1480mm Specifications

- worktop thickness: 15mm – stable base for regular positioning and clamping of workpieces,
- material: S355J2+N steel – structural material used in the PRO series,
- flatness tolerance: ≤0.15mm – precise surface across the entire working area,
- holes: milled and chamfered – easier use with system tooling,
- hole manufacturing tolerance: ±0.05mm – repeatable positioning of clamping tools,
- engraved scale: 100x100mm – assists with positioning components across a large surface,
- reinforcement: rib system beneath the worktop – additional rigidity of the work surface,
- leg profile: 100x100x4mm – stable support for the large worktop,
- load capacity: 1000kg per leg – suitable for working with heavier structures when the load is properly distributed.
The 1500x1480mm surface provides significantly more space in the transverse direction than the 1500x1000mm variant while maintaining the same working length. If structures require wide spacing between clamping points or access to the workpiece from multiple sides, the PRO 1500x1480mm provides 2.22m² of space for positioning and referencing them.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the PRO 1500x1480mm differ in terms of work surface from the 1500x1000mm variant?
At the same length, the worktop is 480mm wider, providing more space for wide structures and clamping tools positioned along their sides.
Can several working zones be created on the 1500x1480mm worktop?
Yes. The 2.22m² surface allows different parts of the workstation to be used for assembly, subassembly preparation or tooling placement, depending on the size of the workpieces.
Does the ≤0.15mm accuracy apply to the entire work surface?
Yes. The worktop flatness tolerance is ≤0.15mm, allowing different areas of the surface to be used as a reference when positioning structures.
