Description

Welding table PLUS 2400×1200 mm – large work surface for more extensive structures

With a 2400×1200 mm work surface, the GPPH PLUS welding table can accommodate a structure divided into several support and clamping zones. The S355J2+N steel tabletop, its ribbed reinforcement, the system of milled and chamfered holes, and engraved markings work together across one large work surface.

Welding tabletop 2400×1200 mm for more extensive structures

The 2400×1200 mm work surface provides the space needed for positioning larger frames, welded assemblies and structures requiring several support and clamping zones. The 2400 mm length makes it easier to work with elongated components, while the 1200 mm width leaves room for tooling and additional parts.

A welding table measuring 2400×1200 mm can reduce the need to divide a larger structure between several smaller workstations. One large work surface makes it easier to control the relative position of components and plan the next preparation stages before welding.

S355J2+N steel and reinforcement of the large tabletop

A large structure often occupies several areas of the tabletop at the same time, so the 2400×1200 mm surface can be organized as one extensive working base. The tabletop is made of S355J2+N steel, and its size allows a larger assembly to be arranged across several workstation zones.

Beneath the work surface is a system of reinforcing ribs. It supports the tabletop when the weight of the workpiece, support points and clamping are distributed across several workstation zones.

GPPH advises: start preparing a large workpiece by dividing the surface into support, clamping and tooling zones. With the 2400×1200 mm format, this approach reduces the need to reposition components later and helps make better use of the entire work area.

Mounting holes for multi-point configurations

For large projects, individual parts of the structure may require independent stabilization in several areas of the table. The system of milled and chamfered holes connects these zones within one common mounting solution.

Each section of the assembly can have its own set of clamping points, even though the entire structure remains on a single work surface. For the next project, the workstation layout can be reorganized from scratch.

Load capacity of the welding table PLUS

Each welding table PLUS variant offers a load capacity of up to 750 kg per leg. This makes the workstation suitable also for working with heavier components and higher loads.

Engraved scale for organizing a large work surface

On a large tabletop, the engraved scale helps relate the positions of components located in different areas of the workstation. This makes it easier to organize a structure that cannot be conveniently monitored from a single position.

The markings can also be used to define working zones on the surface. For subsequent projects, this makes it easier to return to a previously used arrangement of the workpiece and clamping points.

Welding table PLUS 2400×1200 mm parameters

  • work surface 2400×1200 mm,
  • tabletop made of S355J2+N steel,
  • construction reinforced with stiffening ribs,
  • milled and chamfered mounting holes,
  • engraved scale supporting positioning,
  • large work surface for more extensive structures,
  • possibility to create multi-point clamping configurations,
  • space for the workpiece, supports and tooling.

The large 2400×1200 mm format makes it possible to keep an extensive assembly and the required tooling within a single workstation. Choose the PLUS 2400×1200 mm when a large workpiece requires one work surface with room for several support and clamping zones.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the 2400×1200 mm surface be divided into several working zones?
Yes. The large tabletop can be organized so that separate areas are used for support, clamping and tooling.

When is one large work surface more convenient than several smaller tables?
When the components of a single structure should remain in one common layout during preparation and positioning.

Is it worth planning the layout before starting work with a table of this size?
Yes. Defining the positions for the workpiece, clamping points and tools in advance helps make better use of the available work surface.
