Description
Welding Table PRO 1500x1000mm – more space for long frames and profiles
The 1500mm length of the Welding Table PRO allows clamping points to be spaced over a longer section while maintaining a 1000mm working width. The worktop is 15mm thick, made of S355J2+N steel, reinforced with ribs and maintains a flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm. It is well suited when longer frames, profiles and frameworks require several widely spaced clamping points without constantly repositioning the structure during assembly.
1500mm length for frames, profiles and frameworks
The 1500x1000mm work surface provides more space along the longitudinal axis than the 1200mm variants, making it better suited to structures that require greater spacing between reference points. Longer frames, profiles, railings, frameworks and bases can be positioned across a larger section of the worktop without frequently repositioning the workpiece.
The 1000mm width maintains convenient access to the central part of the workstation while allowing clamping tools to be positioned on both sides of the structure. This layout is well suited to workpieces with a clearly longer axis that still require transverse space for squares, stops and clamps.
The 1500x1000mm welding worktop can be used both for individual larger components and for preparing several smaller subassemblies in a single work cycle. The greater length makes it possible to separate working zones without one workpiece occupying the entire surface.
S355J2+N steel and 15mm worktop for working over a greater length
The elongated 1500x1000mm format features a 15mm worktop made of S355J2+N steel and internal rib reinforcement. This combination creates a stable work surface for clamping points spaced over a greater distance.
With long profiles, the accuracy of the reference surface becomes particularly important, which is why the PRO work surface maintains a flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm. This makes it possible to control the alignment, height and relative position of parts supported at several widely spaced points.
- the hole finishing process includes milling and chamfering their edges,
- their position is produced to a tolerance of ±0.05mm, supporting repeatable clamping configurations,
- when positioning subsequent points along the structure, the engraved 100x100mm grid can be used as a reference,
- reinforcing ribs support the surface from underneath along the entire length of the worktop,
- support is provided by 100x100x4mm structural leg profiles,
- the 1000kg value applies to a single leg and requires proper weight distribution across the workstation.
GPPH recommends: Start positioning a longer frame from its outermost points. Before securing the middle section, check the diagonals and alignment of the entire structure. This makes it possible to detect any deviation before it is fixed in place by additional clamping points.
Maximum table load capacity up to 4000kg
The compact dimensions of the PRO 1000x600mm do not mean limited load capacity. The table is supported by 4 legs made of 100x100x4mm profiles, each providing a load capacity of up to 1000kg. With the load properly and evenly distributed, this gives the table a maximum load capacity of up to 4000kg.
This allows the compact work surface to also be used with heavy components and structures, provided their weight is properly distributed across the worktop and support points.
Welding Table PRO 1500x1000mm Specifications
- worktop dimensions: 1500x1000mm – elongated work surface for frames, profiles and frameworks,
- worktop thickness: 15mm – stable base for regular clamping of components,
- material: S355J2+N steel – structural material used in the PRO series,
- flatness tolerance: ≤0.15mm – precise surface along the entire working length,
- holes: milled and chamfered – easier use with system tooling,
- hole manufacturing tolerance: ±0.05mm – repeatable positioning of tools,
- engraved scale: 100x100mm – assists with positioning longer profiles and reference points,
- reinforcement: rib system beneath the worktop – supports the rigidity of the work surface,
- leg profile: 100x100x4mm – stable base for the workstation,
- load capacity: 1000kg per leg – suitable for working with heavier workpieces when the load is evenly distributed.
The 1500mm length allows clamping points to be spaced over a greater distance and reduces the need to reposition the workpiece during work. For regular production of longer frames, frameworks and profiles, the PRO 1500x1000mm provides space for wider spacing between clamping points without excessively increasing the width of the workstation.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does the additional 300mm compared with a 1200x1000mm worktop make a practical difference?
With longer profiles and frames, wider spacing between the outermost reference points can reduce the need to reposition the workpiece during assembly.
Can several smaller subassemblies be prepared on the 1500x1000mm work surface?
Yes, if their dimensions and clamping configuration allow it, the greater length can be used to create several separate working zones.
How can repeatability be maintained when producing identical structures?
After correctly positioning the first workpiece, it is worth recording the position of the stops and other reference points relative to the 100x100mm scale.
