The GPPH XWT height-adjustable welding table is available from €2746 net to €10056 net and allows the workstation height to be adjusted to the operator and the type of work being performed. An adjustable workstation is ideal where different tasks are carried out, workpieces of varying sizes are processed, or multiple operators use the same workstation.
Height-adjustable welding tables reduce the need for constant bending or working with your arms raised too high, as the tabletop height can be adjusted to suit the current task. The hydraulic lifting system allows the workstation to be adjusted smoothly during workpiece preparation, dimensional inspection, welding, and assembly.
A properly selected height adjustment range helps maintain a more natural working posture. Reduced strain on the back, shoulders, and wrists is especially important during longer production runs, when increasing fatigue can reduce work accuracy. A height-adjustable welding table also makes it easier to access different sides of the structure, reducing the need to frequently rotate heavy workpieces.
In the wider range welding tables there are workstations designed for different ways of working. If height adjustment is not required, an alternative may be traditional welding tables with a fixed working height.
The XWT height-adjustable welding table combines a rigid base frame with a hydraulic lifting system offering a height adjustment range from 460 mm to 1150 mm, ensuring stable support for workpieces even after the tabletop position has been changed. You can choose a base with levelling feet or a wheeled version that makes it easier to reposition the workstation in a workshop or production hall.
The tabletop can be made from S355J2+N structural steel or 1.4301 stainless steel. Structural steel is suitable for most welding and assembly applications, while the INOX version is intended for tasks where reducing the risk of contaminating workpieces with carbon steel is important. The tabletop material and thickness can be selected according to the intensity of use, the size of the structure, and the required positioning accuracy.
GPPH recommends: Before starting work, level the base and adjust the tabletop to the height appropriate for the task being performed. Proper setup improves ergonomics, makes it easier to inspect the workpiece, and helps maintain consistent, repeatable results.
A height-adjustable welding table should be selected according to the size of the structure, the weight of the workpieces, the required working area, and the way the workstation is organized. The height adjustment range should allow the most common tasks to be performed comfortably, while the type of base depends on whether the workstation remains in one place or is moved regularly.
Height-adjustable welding tables are worth equipping with Tools for Welding Tables, which help clamp and position workpieces. Work organization is improved by drawer sets for welding tables, while surface maintenance is made easier with the right welding chemicals.
XWT height-adjustable welding tables are available with different tabletops, a base with levelling feet or wheels, and a height adjustment range designed for everyday work. Choose the version that best matches the size of your structures, your workstation layout, and the material you work with.
Does a Height-Adjustable Welding Table Help Reduce Fatigue?
Yes, adjusting the tabletop height reduces the need to bend over and helps maintain a natural working position during longer tasks.
How Does the Hydraulic Lifting System in the XWT Table Work?
The hydraulic lifting system allows the tabletop height to be adjusted smoothly, making it easy to adapt the workstation to both the operator and the task.
Can the XWT Table Be Equipped with a Stainless Steel Tabletop?
Yes, the XWT table can be equipped with a 1.4301 stainless steel tabletop when working with components that require a clean workstation.
