The 1500x1480 welding table from GPPH costs from €1,071.00 to €10,455.00 and provides a large, stable work surface that makes it easier to position and clamp medium-sized and larger constructions without frequently moving the workpiece. This format works particularly well where convenient access to the construction from several sides and repeatable workpiece location during assembly are required.
The 1500x1480 mm dimensions provide a broad surface for arranging the workpiece, support points and clamping tools without making the workstation excessively long. The similar lengths of both sides help make use of the table top in different directions, which is practical for frames, spatial constructions and components requiring access from several sides.
The larger surface reduces the need to repeatedly move the construction between successive assembly and welding stages. Once the clamping setup has been prepared, it is easier to maintain during further work, helping keep the components correctly positioned in relation to each other. In the wider range welding tables other formats tailored to different construction sizes are also available.
If a shallower workstation depth is more important, an alternative may be Welding tables 1500x1000 mm. For longer components, it is worth comparing this format with Welding tables 2000x1000 mm.
The 1500x1480 mm size is common to the entire category, but the individual series differ in table-top thickness from 8 to 25 mm, Ø16 or Ø28 hole systems, and workstation construction. This makes it possible to combine the same work-surface size with a solution suited to the clamping method, work intensity and workshop organisation.
The 1500x1480 mm format is available in the SMART 12, SMART 15, ECO, PLUS, PRO and EXPERT series, as well as in the BASIC, XWT and WeldStation variants. PLUS INOX and PRO INOX versions are also available. Standard table tops are made from S355J2+N steel, while the INOX variants use 1.4301 stainless steel.
The hole system may use Ø16 or Ø28, while the grid layout - depending on the series - may have a 50x50 mm or 100x100 mm spacing, or follow a diagonal pattern. The engraved 100x100 mm grid helps with initial component positioning and reproducing a previously prepared setup. Selecting the right welding table tools allows the hole system to be used for locating and clamping constructions.
GPPH advises: Before starting work, carefully level the 1500x1480 mm table and check the stability of all support points. A correctly levelled work surface helps maintain the geometry of a larger construction, achieve repeatable workpiece location and reduce deviations during assembly and welding.
The 1500x1480 mm table version should primarily be chosen according to the clamping system, table-top construction and how the workstation will be used, rather than the dimensions alone. A universal workshop workstation may require different specifications from one intended for the regular production of similar constructions.
If tools from the Ø16 or Ø28 system are used, it is worth ensuring that the table is compatible with the equipment already in use. Welding clamps help stabilise components during positioning and welding, while a properly selected hole system makes it possible to create repeatable clamping setups.
The work-surface material and table-top thickness also matter. S355J2+N steel variants suit standard welding applications, while INOX versions make it possible to choose a 1.4301 stainless steel surface. Table tops available in thicknesses from 8 to 25 mm allow the table construction to be matched to the nature of the planned work.
1500x1480 mm welding tables are available with table tops ranging from 8 to 25 mm thick and in Ø16 and Ø28 systems. Choose the series, table-top material and clamping system according to the type of constructions being produced and the equipment used at the workstation.
What type of work is a 1500x1480 mm welding table suitable for?
The 1500x1480 mm format works well for medium-sized and larger constructions that require wide, stable support.
Are 1500x1480 mm tables available in Ø16 and Ø28 systems?
Yes, depending on the series, 1500x1480 mm tables are available in either the Ø16 or Ø28 system, with different layouts of clamping-hole grids.
Which GPPH series are available in the 1500x1480 mm size?
The 1500x1480 mm size is available in the SMART, ECO, PLUS, PRO, EXPERT, BASIC, XWT and WeldStation series, as well as in INOX variants.
