Welding table 3000x1480 - large work surface for complex constructions

Welding table 3000x1480 from GPPH costs from €2,142 to €17,272 net and provides a large work surface that reduces the need to move, remeasure and reposition complex constructions. This size is well suited to manufacturing larger components, where stable clamping of workpieces and repeatability across successive operations are essential.

Why does a 3000x1480 mm work surface make it easier to work with large constructions?

A 3000x1480 mm work surface allows a larger construction to be arranged in a single setup and keeps its components in fixed positions during assembly and welding. Fewer operations involving the movement of workpieces mean less remeasuring and fewer points where positioning errors can occur.

The 3000x1480 mm size is created by combining two 1500x1480 mm table tops. This solution is the largest of the 10 standard sizes available in the traditional table range. welding tables. The large work surface is particularly useful for frames, spatial structures and components whose positioning on a smaller workstation would require further changes of position.

How is the 3000x1480 welding table constructed?

The 3000x1480 welding table consists of two connected 1500x1480 mm tables, so the correct levelling and alignment of both sections along their shared edge directly affects the geometry of the entire workstation. Depending on the series, the table tops are 8 to 25 mm thick and reinforced with ribs.

The ECO, PLUS, PRO and EXPERT series use S355J2+N steel, while PLUS INOX and PRO INOX are made from 1.4301 stainless steel. Stainless steel variants are particularly worth considering when the nature of the process calls for the use of stainless steel welding tables. For example, the PLUS INOX table top is 12 mm thick, reinforced with ribs and available with an Ø16 or Ø28 system.

GPPH advises: before starting work, carefully level both 1500x1480 mm tables and check their alignment along the shared edge. Correctly joining the work surfaces helps maintain the geometry of a large construction and enables repeatable positioning of workpieces during assembly and welding.

Which 3000x1480 welding table series should you choose?

The 3000x1480 welding table series should primarily be selected according to the required table-top construction, hole system and type of work performed. Available in this category are SMART 12, SMART 15, ECO, PLUS, PRO, EXPERT, as well as the stainless steel PLUS INOX and PRO INOX variants.

In GPPH's traditional series, the differences are clear: ECO has an 8 mm table top, PLUS 12 mm, PRO 15 mm and EXPERT 25 mm. ECO, PLUS and PRO are available with an Ø16 system featuring a 50x50 mm, 100x100 mm or diagonal grid, and with an Ø28 system featuring a 100x100 mm or diagonal grid. EXPERT uses an Ø28 system with a 100x100 mm or diagonal grid.

For work requiring PRO series parameters, it is worth moving directly to Welding tables PRO. INOX variants, on the other hand, offer a separate material option: PLUS INOX has a 12 mm table top, while PRO INOX has a 15 mm table top.

Ø16 or Ø28 system - what should you consider when choosing?

The Ø16 or Ø28 system should be selected together with the clamping tools, as the hole diameter and layout determine the compatibility of components used to position constructions. In series offering both systems, the hole grid can also be selected to suit the type of work performed.

The engraved 100x100 mm grid provides an additional reference point when positioning components. Properly selected Tools for Welding Tables allow the table-top holes to be used for repeatable clamping of flat and spatial constructions. For the PLUS series, the manufacturer specifies a hole manufacturing tolerance of ±0.05 mm.

Table tops ranging from 8 to 25 mm thick, Ø16 and Ø28 systems, and eight available series make it possible to choose a 3000x1480 welding table that matches the type of constructions being produced. Compare the series parameters and select a configuration suited to the required work surface, clamping system and table-top material.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many parts does the 3000x1480 welding table consist of?

The 3000x1480 mm table consists of two connected 1500x1480 mm tables, which must be correctly levelled and aligned along their shared edge.

Which hole systems are available for 3000x1480 tables?

The Ø16 or Ø28 system is available depending on the series; 50x50, 100x100 and diagonal grids are used in the relevant configurations.

What thickness are the table tops of 3000x1480 welding tables?
