Welding Table 1000x600 - compact workstation for precise work with smaller workpieces

The 1000x600 Welding Table from GPPH costs between €901.00 and €3,502.00 and provides a compact, stable working surface for positioning and clamping small workpieces and compact structures in a repeatable setup. This format is particularly well suited to small workshops and assembly and welding workstations where every part of the available space matters.

When does the 1000x600 mm format make more sense than a larger tabletop?

The 1000x600 mm format is worth choosing when typical workpieces are small and a larger working surface would remain largely unused. The 600 mm side helps reduce the overall workstation footprint, while the 1000 mm length leaves space for the workpiece, locating points, and basic clamping tools.

One of the smallest GPPH table formats is easier to integrate into a small workshop, place next to other workstations, or use where free movement around the work area is important. In the wider range welding tables larger working surfaces are also available. Welding tables 1000x1000 mm are suitable when a square tabletop and more space around the workpiece are needed, while welding tables 1200x800 mm provide a longer working surface while keeping the workstation compact.

How to choose a 1000x600 table based on the clamping system and type of work?

Choose the 1000x600 table primarily according to the Ø16 or Ø28 system, the type of workpieces being produced, and the required tabletop construction. The category includes the ECO, PLUS, PRO, and EXPERT series, the PLUS INOX and PRO INOX variants, and the BASIC assembly and welding table, so the same 1000x600 mm size can suit different ways of working.

Standard versions use S355J2+N steel, while the INOX variants use 1.4301 stainless steel. The tabletops are 8 to 25 mm thick, and different hole grid layouts are used depending on the series. Milled and chamfered holes, an engraved scale, and a rib-reinforced construction help with positioning and stable clamping of components.

On a small tabletop, careful placement of equipment is particularly important. Properly selected Tools for Welding Tables and welding clamps allow the clamping points to be used without unnecessarily occupying the working area. The compact dimensions also make workstation organization and table movement easier.

GPPH recommends: With a 1000x600 mm tabletop, first plan the position of the workpiece and tools so that the required clamping points remain accessible. Then level the surface and check the stability of all support points.

The 1000x600 mm tables are available with tabletop thicknesses of 8-25 mm, in Ø16 and Ø28 systems, and in several GPPH series. Choose the configuration according to the size of the workpieces, the clamping method, and the space available at the workstation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of work is a 1000x600 mm welding table suitable for?

The 1000x600 mm format is well suited to small workpieces and compact structures where efficient use of space is important.

1000x600 or 1000x1000 mm - which format should you choose?

The 1000x600 mm format takes up less space, while 1000x1000 mm provides a larger clamping area and easier access to the workpiece from several sides.

Is the 1000x600 table available in Ø16 and Ø28 systems?

Yes, depending on the series, the 1000x600 mm table can use the Ø16 or Ø28 system and different layouts of clamping holes.
