Description
Welding Table PRO 3000x1480mm – extensive workstation for large structures
The Welding Table PRO 3000x1480mm consists of two 1500x1480mm tables with worktops made of 15mm thick S355J2+N steel and a flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm. It is well suited when a large structure does not fit on a single worktop and requires one extensive working surface without dividing the assembly into several setups.
3000x1480mm work surface for very large structures
The 3000x1480mm configuration is created by combining two PRO 1500x1480mm tables. When properly positioned, the two worktops provide a total of 4.44m² of working surface, allowing work with large frames, steel structures, wide frameworks, bases and assemblies that exceed the dimensions of a single table.
Length 3000mm allows reference points to be positioned over a long distance without the need to move the entire structure between successive stages of work. The 1480mm width also provides space for clamping points on both sides of the workpiece and for components extending in the transverse direction.
The modular design distinguishes the 3000x1480mm variant from the other PRO sizes. Two tables can form one large workstation, or, depending on the workflow, they can be separated and used as two independent 1500x1480mm work surfaces.
Setting up two worktops as one working surface
In the 3000x1480mm configuration, the accuracy of the entire workstation depends not only on the parameters of the individual worktops, but also on their alignment with each other. Each PRO surface maintains a flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm, while after combining the two tables, their height must also be aligned and the joining area checked.
This is particularly important for components extending from one worktop to the other. If there is a height difference at the joining point, the workpiece will not be referenced against one continuous plane despite the correct parameters of both tables.
- the workstation consists of two independent PRO 1500x1480mm tables,
- when combined, the total working surface is 4.44m²,
- each module uses a 15mm thick S355J2+N steel worktop,
- the correctly positioned worktop of each table maintains a flatness tolerance of ≤0.15mm,
- milled and chamfered holes are manufactured with a tolerance of ±0.05mm,
- both worktops have their own engraved 100x100mm scale,
- the entire workstation is supported by eight legs made of 100x100x4mm profiles.
GPPH recommends: First level one table and use it as the reference surface. Then adjust the height of the second worktop, paying particular attention to the joining area. Before positioning a large structure, check the contact zone, the long edges and the diagonals of the entire workstation.
Maximum table load capacity up to 8000kg
The compact dimensions of PRO do not mean limited load capacity. The table is supported by 8 legs made of 100x100x4mm profiles, each providing a load capacity of up to 1000kg. With the load correctly and evenly distributed, this provides a maximum table load capacity of up to 8000kg.
This allows the compact work surface to also be used with heavy components and structures, provided their weight is properly distributed across the worktop and support points.
Welding Table PRO 3000x1480mm specifications
- work surface dimensions: 3000x1480mm – large workstation created from two 1500x1480mm tables,
- total working surface: 4.44m² – space for large frames, frameworks and extensive structures,
- number of tables: 2 – can be used together or as two separate workstations,
- thickness of each worktop: 15mm – stable base for positioning and clamping components,
- material: S355J2+N steel – structural material used in the PRO series,
- flatness tolerance of each worktop: ≤0.15mm – precise surface of each of the two modules,
- holes: milled and chamfered – easier use with system tooling,
- hole manufacturing tolerance: ±0.05mm – repeatable positioning of clamping tools,
- engraved scale: 100x100mm – helps with positioning and checking the alignment of large structures,
- reinforcement: rib system beneath each worktop – additional rigidity of the work surfaces,
- leg profile: 100x100x4mm – stable support for both modules,
- number of legs: 8 – four support points for each table,
- load capacity: 1000kg per leg – allows work with heavy loads when properly distributed.
The 3000x1480mm configuration provides 4.44m² of working surface and allows structures that exceed the capabilities of a single PRO table to be referenced. If large frames, frameworks or assemblies require three metres of working length, two PRO 1500x1480mm tables can be used as one extensive workstation while retaining the option to separate them later.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many tables make up the PRO 3000x1480mm work surface?
The workstation consists of two PRO 1500x1480mm tables, which, when properly positioned, provide a total working surface of 3000x1480mm.
How should two tables forming a 3000x1480mm work surface be properly set up?
Each table should be levelled and then both surfaces should be aligned with each other. Particular attention should be paid to the joining area and to long components supported by both worktops at the same time.
Can the tables forming the 3000x1480mm configuration be used separately?
Yes. Since the workstation consists of two independent 1500x1480mm tables, they can be used together as one large work surface or separated into two individual workstations.
