In a well-planned workshop, every move matters. The welder doesn’t start the day by searching for tools or cleaning the surface after the previous shift. The space is organized, and the workstation is ready for work. The heart of the workshop is the GPPH welding table – a solid, stable structure whose flatness and precision ensure accuracy in every detail. Depending on the nature of the job, different table series are used – from the economical SMART, through the universal PRO or PLUS, up to the heavy-duty industrial EXPERT series, with a load capacity of up to 1000 kg per leg. Such parameters allow safe work even with large structural elements, without fear of deformation or loss of level.
Before starting welding, the operator places the components on the tabletop. The 100×100 mm grid with Ø28 mm holes makes it easy to quickly position and clamp elements using GPPH tools. If needed, the working surface can be extended with the help of TRESTLE supports, allowing longer profiles to be supported or structures of non-standard dimensions to be prepared. For larger projects, tables are connected using blocks and connectors, creating a consistent and rigid working base. Everything fits together within the system, without makeshift solutions that often extend work time in practice.

In welding, not only stability matters but also ergonomics. More and more workshops are using tables with hydraulic height adjustment (XWT series), which allow the tabletop position to be adapted to the nature of the work. The welder can change the table height within seconds, which is important both when working with long elements and when performing precise welds in a seated position. This solution reduces fatigue and helps maintain consistent weld quality throughout the day.
In a well-equipped workshop, the organization of space also plays a key role. The GPPH WeldStation welding station integrates the worktable with a system of drawers and shelves, keeping all essential tools within easy reach. There’s no need to interrupt work to reach for clamps or assembly fixtures. For smaller setups, drawer sets and lower shelves are also available, which can be mounted to any GPPH table – from the ECO to the EXPERT series. Such solutions not only improve organization but also enhance safety by eliminating clutter around the workspace.
During work, maintaining proper environmental conditions is also important. The workshop is equipped with the GPPH IQ Air Flow or IQ Aero Clean filtration and ventilation system, which effectively removes welding fumes and smoke, improving both comfort and safety. The Air Flow hood is designed to capture contaminants not only from the center of the table but also from its corners – where fumes most often rise. As a result, the air in the hall remains clean, and visibility during welding is significantly better, directly affecting precision and operator health.

In larger production facilities, the organization of welding stations goes a step further. The GPPH Slide System rail system allows quick movement of tables or supports along the working line. This makes it possible to create flexible work layouts tailored to the current project, without the need for disassembly or moving heavy components. Such a solution reduces downtime and enables efficient space management, especially where multiple jobs are carried out simultaneously.
After finishing work, the welder takes care of equipment maintenance. The table surface is cleaned with GPPH CHEM HD Cleaner, which removes dirt, and PROTECTOR, which protects the surface against corrosion. Well-maintained tables retain their properties for years, and the precise working surface does not require rework or milling. It’s not only a matter of aesthetics but also a real saving – in both time and maintenance costs.

An organized workshop is not only about convenience but also efficiency and safety. Properly selected equipment – from tables and supports to ventilation and welding chemistry – allows the welder to focus on the job, not on dealing with spatial or technical limitations. In practice, this means shorter preparation times, fewer assembly errors, and a higher level of consistency.
GPPH products form a coherent system in which every element has its place and purpose. As a result, the welder’s day runs smoothly – from the first weld to the final table cleaning.
