Os resultados da pesquisa s\u00e3o claros.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">A nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 um processo que, teoricamente, melhora a dureza e a resist\u00eancia ao desgaste das superf\u00edcies de a\u00e7o. Por esse motivo, alguns fabricantes come\u00e7aram a aplicar esse m\u00e9todo em mesas de soldagem, na esperan\u00e7a de que elas durem mais. No entanto, estudos recentes mostram que, <strong>na pr\u00e1tica, a nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o de mesas de solda n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas ineficiente e cara, mas tamb\u00e9m prejudicial \u00e0 durabilidade da superf\u00edcie da mesa de solda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Por que a nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o funcionaria?<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">A nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o envolve a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de nitrog\u00eanio em superf\u00edcies de a\u00e7o para aumentar sua dureza. O processo parecia atraente para as empresas que queriam tornar as mesas de solda mais resistentes a lascas e danos. O problema, no entanto, \u00e9 que, apesar das vantagens te\u00f3ricas, o <strong>revestimento nitretado n\u00e3o funciona bem na pr\u00e1tica em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de soldagem, pois as altas temperaturas s\u00e3o prejudiciais a ele.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>O que diz a pesquisa?<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Os testes mostram que a superf\u00edcie <strong>nitretada<\/strong>, apesar de sua maior dureza, <strong>\u00e9 muito fr\u00e1gil quando exposta a respingos quentes e ao arco el\u00e9trico. Quando exposta ao calor, a camada racha e descasca rapidamente, danificando a mesa de solda<\/strong>. O principal problema \u00e9 que a nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o penetra na camada superior do material e a preenche com uma densidade tal que <strong>impede a expans\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica adequada. O resultado s\u00e3o rachaduras devido \u00e0 alta temperatura, pois o material n\u00e3o consegue se expandir adequadamente.<\/strong>  Isso pode ser explicado por um r\u00e1pido aumento local no valor do coeficiente de expans\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica linear na \u00e1rea em que, de acordo com a literatura, j\u00e1 existem tens\u00f5es compressivas. <strong>Isso resulta na degrada\u00e7\u00e3o completa da camada nitretada.<\/strong> Essa mesa s\u00f3 funcionar\u00e1 bem em opera\u00e7\u00f5es que n\u00e3o introduzam calor na camada superior da mesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">A Figura 2 mostra uma compara\u00e7\u00e3o entre superf\u00edcies nitretadas e n\u00e3o nitretadas ap\u00f3s a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o a respingos de solda. Pode-se ver claramente que a superf\u00edcie nitretada, apesar de sua dureza te\u00f3rica, sofre significativamente mais danos. Por sua vez, o arco el\u00e9trico causa a quebra dos nitretos, fazendo com que a superf\u00edcie dura se torne porosa e n\u00e3o cumpra sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Como mostram as figuras (Figura 6 e Figura 7), a a\u00e7\u00e3o do arco faz com que os nitretos se quebrem e formem uma superf\u00edcie porosa e danificada. Parte inferior: produtos de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o de austenita super-resfriada, formados sob condi\u00e7\u00f5es de resfriamento r\u00e1pido.&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Mesas de solda nitretadas - mais problemas do que benef\u00edcios.<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Embora a nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o pare\u00e7a sensata \u00e0 primeira vista, na pr\u00e1tica a camada nitretada \u00e9 muito fr\u00e1gil para suportar as condi\u00e7\u00f5es severas de soldagem. <strong>Em vez de proteger a mesa, ela racha devido ao calor e aos respingos. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>A camada nitretada n\u00e3o torna as mesas de solda resistentes aos efeitos degradantes dos respingos de solda e das convuls\u00f5es. <\/strong> Como resultado dos efeitos t\u00e9rmicos das got\u00edculas de metal l\u00edquido, formam-se rachaduras transversais, longitudinais e delamina\u00e7\u00e3o na camada nitretada. <strong>No processo de remo\u00e7\u00e3o dos respingos, fragmentos da camada nitretada s\u00e3o retirados das \u00e1reas onde houve degrada\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclus\u00f5es para os clientes<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Se voc\u00ea quiser uma mesa de solda dur\u00e1vel, \u00e9 melhor evitar os modelos nitretados<\/strong>. Embora esse processo prometa dureza e resist\u00eancia, <strong>na realidade, essas mesas se deterioram rapidamente com a soldagem<\/strong>. <strong>Em vez de pagar a mais por nitreta\u00e7\u00e3o, vale a pena investir em mesas de soldagem robustas sem essa camada<\/strong>. Mesas feitas de a\u00e7o dur\u00e1vel, sem revestimentos adicionais desnecess\u00e1rios, ter\u00e3o melhor desempenho em condi\u00e7\u00f5es dif\u00edceis de soldagem e s\u00e3o mais resistentes ao calor e a danos.
