Nitriding is a process that increases the hardness of the steel surface and improves its resistance to abrasion. In many industrial applications, this solution does indeed deliver very good results. The problem is that a welding table operates under completely different conditions than most machine components<\/strong>. During welding, the table surface is regularly exposed to very high temperatures, welding spatter, intensive heating and cooling. These are the conditions that have the greatest impact on the durability of the tabletop.
